Selected students from Years 8 to 12, were given the opportunity to participate in the 2022 Australian Geography Competition. Nearly 70,000 students from across Australia participated this year.
The competition’s national coordinator, Rachel Honey, said “The competition aims to encourage student interest in Geography and to reward student excellence. Geography is such an important subject because it brings together the physical and human dimensions of our environment, helping students to develop a deeper understanding of our world and the challenges it faces,” said Ms Honey.
Wauchope High School achieved some outstanding results this year.
