Jade victorious at Mid Coast Connect Careers Expo

Jade wins accuracy award

Year 12 student Jade emerged victorious at the recently held Mid Coast Connect Careers Expo!

TAFE Wauchope’s construction section held a carpentry competition. Jade’s precision in measuring and cutting timber to a 30mm small block set her apart from over 90 students that participated, representing various high schools. The competition was fierce, but Jade’s skills stood out!

Jade is pictured with mum Jenny receiving her well-deserved carpentry tool kit prize, presented by the Head Teacher of Construction at Wauchope TAFE, Greg Page. Well done and congratulations Jade!
