During the summer holidays, Year 11 student Dylan travelled over the Great Dividing Range to compete in the Australian High School Rodeo Finals at Bendemeer. The competition was held over three days and included a range of events such as breakaway roping, barrel racing and saddle bronc, attracting the best young competitors from across the country.
Dylan competed in the Senior High Bullride and placed in the top 10 overall, a wonderful achievement to wrap up his first year of competitive bullriding. Dylan is looking forward to another big season of rodeo with the goal of placing within the top 4 at next year's event to progress to the National High School Rodeo Finals in America in 2025.
